I like to give shout outs when earned. I have noticed that my steering wheel in my Lincoln MKZ was starting to feel loose recently and after being in my car last time, it was much worse and … More definitely needed repaired. Originally when I first noticed it loose, I did some homework online and saw that there was a previous recall on it and Ford/Lincoln were fixing them for free as they should due to safety concerns due to the risk of the steering wheel falling off. I called around to local Lincoln/Ford dealerships and apparently the recall is no longer active and I would have to pay serval hundred dollars to get it fixed. With me not liking that answer I did some more calling around and I was referred to Mitch’s Automotive on State Street in Bettendorf. After having a good conversation and letting him know what was going on in detail, he told me to bring it on in and he’d take care of it. His shop did a great job with communicating, fixing the issue in a timely manner, they are very fair priced and making accommodations for me was a plus. I highly recommend him if you want a certified Ford/Lincoln automotive mechanic that has great customer service, over 20 years of certified experience on all make and models of vehicles and will fix it right the first time, give Mitch’s Automotive a call. I’ll be honest. I’m pretty difficult to impress when it comes to some things, but I was very happy with my experience with him and his shop. Less
